old friends

A few weeks ago, we went to visit an old friend of mine from university for a bit of a get-together. Richy foolishly left me alone in his lounge for twenty minutes.

Richard: Oy
DeathBoy: I think you mean "yo!"
Richard: No, oy!
Richard: I had a problem with my computer keyboard two days ago
DeathBoy: heh
Richard: Computer wouldn't recognise it at all
DeathBoy: I know where this is going
Richard: So I unplugged it and pulled it out to test on my laptop
Richard: And found .. a message
Richard: tart!

("DEAR RICH, YOU ARE A TOTAL SHIT-THIEF. LOVE, SCOTT"... daubed in red marker pen on a scrap of tissue paper)

DeathBoy: did you not find ... OTHER messages?
DeathBoy: :)
Richard: I've found about 3 so far
Richard: How many are there!?!?
DeathBoy: *some*
Richard: how many?
DeathBoy: oh, I don't know, probably only six or seven. tom may have found/moved any he discovered
DeathBoy: *shrugs*
DeathBoy: you came back and I ran out of paper
Richard: I have about 5 odd more to find
DeathBoy: It's my way of showing affection!
Richard: I suppose it's better than being anally raped - which was your old way of "showing affection"
DeathBoy: *grins*
DeathBoy: that's how I know that you're gay.
Richard: heh

As any responsible friend would, I left small, disparaging messages to him throughout his lounge, underneath objects, so that when he moved / picked up (say) his remote control, he would find a cheerful note informing him that he enjoyed the cock.

It's the little things that send them quietly insane :)

Friends of a roommate came to visit in college. Someone left them alone with one of those labelling guns. for years afterwards my vacuum cleaner was helpfully labelled 'I suck'
