I hope being able to write music again doesn't mean you're no longer happy! You sound, in reality, genuinely happy for the first time, perhaps, since I've known you.
I know what you mean about finding hard to write when you're happy, though, I seem to find it easier to write when I'm slightly miserable. Well, ok, perhaps not miserable-miserable for real, actually; when you are truly depressed it is also very difficult to write anything that you don't hate the day after.
