OK, why do ALL links from the google search results page open in a new fucking tab?

I definitely have not changed this. In fact, my saved prefs choose to NOT do that.

Also, what the fuck's up with Peer Guardian? At the moment, on both my boxes, it currently blocks all fucking internets access.

That doesn't sound right. You sure you haven't been rootkitted? I get paranoid about these things - I once got rootkitted by something very new that nothing and nobody else could recognise.

Ping google.co.uk and google.com and see if the IP address are the same, or maybe post them here. It's standard fare for rootkits to do weird shit to your google searches (intercepting them by means of DNS hijack). Or you might find that download.lavasoft.com resolves to 127.0.0.1, that kinda shit.

Else maybe your Ctrl key is stuck down or something :P
