Dec. 30th, 2001 09:46 amWell, not quite over, but, barring anything that happens New Year's Eve, this has been a typically DeathBoy christmas...
'got some rocking presents...
a few weak ones...
'got a coffee machine, a popcorn maker, a few other random things and a 6 gig mp3 player...
so in terms of DeathBoy gadgets, this has been a well good year. heh.
I'm going to have a constant supply of the three things essential to a coder / musician: popcorn, coffee and mp3s... plus... I'll have 6gig in my trousers... hahahahh....
'Have managed to have shouting matches with enough people... but fix it all back up again afterwards... inevitable as ever...
The T-shirt stuff might not be happening anymore (the UK stuff, that is), as they guys at Gasworks have made us an offer we (me and my business buds) can't accept no matter how much we want things to roll forward... which is a fucking enormous shame. We'll see how all that goes. With any luck we'll talk again and figure out a compromise... I so want to see this merchandise come off, but I'm not prepared to sell myself short. hmm.
Had a near fight experience that reminded me of how much I hate my hometown... 10 18 year old little fuckheads so fucking scared of little deathboy that they stopped kicking a kid in the head (my reason for turning up), then *strangely* recovered enough to call me a "faggot" when I was well out of arms reach... hehh... muppets...
Met a few friends that I hadn't seen since... ohhhhh, last fucking christmas.
Fulfilled various social obligations.
Had about fucking 5 minutes online time since I got back here. (nice!)
...And now, I have to look forward to returning to see how Cath has (no doubt) recovered her confidence and self-righteousness to try it on with me again... which (as my attitude is the same as when I left) could lead to a very nasty little situation indeed. Heheheh.
So... the new year is going to be interesting, no doubt about it.
