Hardware Heaven

Did some band rehearsal and experimentation over the weekend... got the Akai working nicely with Phil's V-Drums, layering harsher, more industrial samples over the internal kit and replacing where suitable.
Planky showed off his new pedal to good effect, too... he can now play acid lines and synth strings from his NEW FUCKING 7 STRING BC RICH...

Also, the Might Buying Power of Planky has secured us a cheap Yam DD-10 for extra sample pads, so we can trigger MORE samples from something other than the V-Drums.
All in all, productive and fun... the live sound for the next gig will be substantially more industrial than the rock-style config of the last shot... more to Wasp Factory's liking and my own, something 'm pretty stoked about... now we've just got to sort shit out for the fucking album... not like that's a chore or owt, but it's going to take a lot of time n effort...
Coo speaking of that kind of stuff... if anyone could offer to camcorder the next gig, I'd be SOOooooooo fucking appreciative... free tix / CDs / booze / goodies for the friendly soul that provides!
