There's something wonderfully liberating when you get a message from someone on SoulSeek looking for a keygen for a piece of software (MusicMatch JukeBox) that they're downloading... you realise you don't have one, but have got an up-to-date Serials2000, provide them with a serial and then recommend a free alternative and they cancel their download, thank you profusely and wander into the Great Open Source Unknown.

In stark contrast to the crap hentai email I got the other day... I just got a mail entitled "hentai geisha and the killer martians" - which went on to be a totally kick-arse mail from someone who obviously both exists and has actually listened to my music.
That's cheered me right-the-fuck-up :D
