I can almost certainly make it to the end of my promised week EXCEPT:

a) I REALLY want to write a tune. To do so without booze... tricky... without cigs? NO WAY!

b) Jason's birthday at the end of the week. I'm to go out to the pub for Jason's birthday with Filthy Rikky, too? AND NOT DRINK?! MY ARSE.

Nostalgia

I just remembered the names of the two DTP packages I used on the ST when I was a kid (for everything from homework to flyers) - "Timeworks" and "Pagestream" (Pagestream being *substantially* the more leet product).

How bizarre... when I couldn't remember the names, I went rooting through ST/DTP related google results... to finally find the names and remember happy times I spent using the things was absolutely fucking sublime... same as when a mate says "Man, you remember Joust on the MSX?" or "Spacewar on the PC?", etc... and my eyes glaze over as I'm suddenly 13 again... course, this is because I spent far far too much time on my ST when I could have been down the park, being beaten up, sniffing glue or getting arrested... :)

I'm a bad-ass retro-fucking-geek and I loooooooooooove it.
