tals mentions the fact that their band, "This Violent Mind" are on Mperia now, so I decide I could do with some music this afternoon and I pop along.
Fuck.
I'm actually listening to goth music.
I may, in fact, be rather enjoying it.
Let's make no bones about it, this really is goth as you like. It's also tuneful and toetapping, and I'm really digging the guitar and synth melodies.
I particularly like "New Gods".
Feck, I just listened to "Spiral", which started off making me think of Nick Cave, then had a mad techy-vocal bit in the middle. Smart!
Fuck it, 'm buying the album. Practice what you preach, yo.
This does not make me a goth.
