Yesterday's comment-whoring went rather well. Cripes.
If I do that again, I'm gonna ask people to put their "vote" in the subject line, so that if I'm bothered to tally them, it's quicker :)
I'm currently enjoying being in the basement. Apparently today is going to be hot by UK standards, and I hate hot.
I was completely fucked yesterday - hayfever and the antihystamines I took to combat it literally knocked me off my feet.
On top of losing a day's work (so the rest of this week is going to be uncomfortable), in a fit of sneezing I poured tea into my laptop.
Ironic given the "what to do if you pour tea in your keyboard" post.
Something connected to the keyboard controller is cacked now as half the keys send the three keys in a diagonal line (ie "4" sends "4rf") and I've left in front of a fan for a day, but no joy. Can't say I'm too happy about that.
I'd left it turned off with a cold fan, so today, I'm leaving it on, with the lid closed as it reaches volcanic temperatures (it's pretty old) - maybe its own heat will rid it of the moisture.
If not, I'm gonna spaff in its fucking motherboard.
Right. Off to *achooo!* work.
*grumble*
