I should probably just shut the fuck up and get my head down.

Life will seem rosier after some sleep and when my work is under control.

Sketched myself being pissed off from a photo I took on a hangover.

Ain't I the angsty one?

Really should be working. Or sleeping.

Seem unable to do either.

Go me.

Oh, great

Now we're playing the absolute silence and eye-contact avoidence game.

Fuck.

Collective Nouns: A (re-)collection.

These make me smile.

From "An exaltation of larks" to "A phalanx of flashers".

Gleaned from this page on flocking and steering.

You know when you have (for instance) the URL of an mp3 and the browser or computer or whatever you're on defaults to playing that file or opening it in Software X that you don't like, using a temp file stored in location Z and all you want to fucking do is save the file to your hard drive?

[edit]: By this, I mean that you have the URL, not a webpage with the URL as a link, just the URL as plaintext in a document or, for instance, in your copy buffer. IF I ALREADY HAD THE FUCKING URL LINKED IN A WEBPAGE THEN I COULD JUST FUCKING SAVE IT FROM THERE, COULDN'T I, EH? 'streuth.

Usually, I just make a tiny html document on my desktop and (complaining) open it, then right-click-save it.

I'm sure there's a better way to do it, and I was about to write a program to do so when it occurred to me that I could simply go to TinyURL, paste in the URL, hit generate, then right-click save the "open in new window" link.

Gucking genius, me.

[edit]: THERE we go - a bookmarklet that does exactly what I was after. Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] realitycontrol :)
