Delicious coffee regurgitated by weasels. It's the taste! ... Not even kidding. :)

Prince Harry goes to torture garden? - this news article neglects to explore the fact that Price William was at the same party dressed as a furry.

Anyone looking for a decent spec soundcard (4in 4out analogue, 2in 2out digital) could do worse than spending 125 quid on an M-Audio Delta 66 from Soundslive. Not fecking bad.

[edit]: crikey - or, for ten quid less, 115 notes, from Dolphin. Cheaper and Cheaperererer!

I've used both Soundslive and Dolphin in the past and had decent service, btw. Both places seem to have a good turnaround and staff that know what they're on about... which is nice :)

my head appears to be full of cotton wool.

as if I got stoned last night or something (I get dope hangovers, bizarrely, in which it feels like, well, this).

music sounds funny and my eyes keep defocussing.

i'd say it was time to take a break, except that I just spent the last two days being exceptionally lazy (largely in bed), so in fact, I probably have it the wrong way round and the body's being thrown by changing down gear so rapidly.

Coffee and cigarettes. That's your man.

A girl. Some men. A basketball hoop. (requires flash)

A cool, but very VERY fucking stupid stunt that I can't believe didn't end up with one mangled wee girl.

Notice the lads looking all chuffed and the girl clutching her head afterwards.

need I say that this is a [livejournal.com profile] selectnone link?

(and by that, I mean "techier than me", as I'm not so bright at network stuff)

I'm using a laptop with ICS and a firewall to share my cable-modem's net connection around the house.

Since I whacked the firewall (Sygate Personal Firewall Pro) in, it seems that if any given machine stops using the net for any period of time, the firewall won't let it connect until I ping the server.

If, say, I try to go to yahoo mail in a browser, it sits there as if there's no connection, then I ping the server and almost instantly, the page manages to load.

This has been happening for some time and is pissing me off.

If I've had something like Yahoo / eMule / whatever running constantly, the connection never drops. It's like there's an idle value after which access is blocked.

Suggestions, please?*

Given a search term, automatically searches for possibly misspelt items on eBay.

The premise being that many items are misspelt on eBay and as such, don't get any/many bids, so go unbought, or for an absolute steal.

This site helps you track down these little dyslexic gems for your own craven purposes.

I just tried it with "NVidia" (video cards for the non-tech savvy) and yep, though there's a lot of misses, there were a good few items that were clearly misspelt NVidia products with no/few bids on them, ripe for the pouncing.

Words like "sennheiser" - better yet!
