Extremely enjoyable.

Now, excuse me, for I must track down the Lung Pixies, who have teamed up with the Spleen Elves to steal my innards, which we all know to contain information of GREAT SOCIAL IMPORTANCE.

oh yeah

Oh yeah, who and what were Smash TV last night?

Their "Ironic" 80s Electroclash Batcave-esque dressed up prick friends/fans who were loudly being snide about both the other bands and the (full) dancefloor of people there for Misnomer/Faetal made me want to connect glass with face.

I'm sure the band had their reasons for not fraternising with the oiks, but their pose-ridden buddies looked like extras from Nathan Barley.

I particularly wanted to smack the lad with the glitterball around his neck who continually bumped me and the one with the full-face 80s makeup, who stared, tittered and derided all the way through Faetal's set.

Luckily, this didn't detract from the corking music, which did Ze Business.

After their set, during a brief DJ interlude and though frank cut it off half way through (for Rico, so I can't complain...), my remix of Liquid Hate sounded, I shit not, fucking ace, if I do say so myself, through a full size PA.

Which is just another reason why you should go buy it. ;)

... this friday afternoon is dragging.

I've done a modicum of work (amazing, given the booze consumed last night) and will have to do a bunch of music stuff (and probably more drinking, it's the law) later on.

Have been dabbling with Microsoft Virtual PC again, trying to get old games to run (like Dreamweb and Frontier) with little success. Those and a few others all seem to lock up either with sound (dreamweb's sound was excellent) or just don't start.

Nuts.

The real reason I'm putting it back on my machine is to start pootling around with linux again. I fancy having a linux box without needing an actual box (and retaining access to my main OS, which is currently Windows XP).

Hmm. At least the nights are getting lighter. Almost 6pm and there's still a little light in the sky.

I think I shall hit up the BBC comedy page and listen to funnies while downloading porn.

It'd be rude not to.
