Oi, Lazyweb!

I get a right old bit of interference from my (flatscreen) monitor, with my audio output.

I've got the soundcard hooked up via a couple of (unbalanced, but I don't think the kit supports balanced) jack leads to a rack-mount headphone splitter.

From the headphone splitter, I run to the monitor speakers and as many pairs of headphones as I have musicians crammed in me room at the time (for those late-night, bird's-asleep-next-door sessions).

On both the monitors and headphones, I get a right old buzzing in the right channel, that disappears entirely when I turn off the monitor.

Now, the monitor is sat directly on top of the headphone amp, but experimenting seems to show that moving the two far apart does nothing, leading me to think that it's something to do with them sharing a power strip. It would be inconvenient, but doable to put them on seperate power strips, but they'd still be coming from adjacent sockets on the wall even if I did that, so I haven't tried that yet.

Any recommendations?
