'Just started watching (very late - it's into the 4th series, I think) Charlie Brooker's Screen Wipe.

It's fucking awesome, I love him, I love how acerbic he is (I've been hooked on him since TV Go Home - some of the finest Loobrary literature in the world), I love that he looks awkward and not conventionally attractive, his foul mouth and spiky wit.

It's a great show.

And it's made by Zeppotron, who are awesome, but are owned by fucking ENDEMOL (the cunts that brought us Big Brother, and a million other programs that Brooker soundly thrashes to pieces).

Which pretty much takes every word the guy sells and sticks it right up his arse.

Still an awesome show, but a little bit like if you found out that Thatcher funded Spitting Image, you would ask if you're being had (just more cleverly this time).

"We have 17.1 million users of bbc.co.uk in the UK and, as far as our server logs can make out, 5 per cent of those [use Macs] and around 400 to 600 are Linux users."

That's in the country, they're claiming??

A very lame excuse to cosy up to Microsoft and lock down the content we've paid for. Backhander-licious.

Please sign here if you use linux to access bbc.co.uk - and pass it on
