fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK.
My game has well exceeded my ability to track the complexity of the behaviours of all of the actors at any given time.
As a result, I've just spent a day solving a specific set of problems, made it work, then realised that the solution has made the actors' behaviours non-deterministic in a way that's grossly unfair to the player.
So either I fucking kludge it, or I call Chi tomorrow and tell him I may have wasted a whole day, effectively, while the deadline looms.
Obviously, I'm going to fucking kludge it.
BALLS.
It's a great line of work where you can solve all the problems, only to realise you've probably set the project back a day.
Ho hum.
