Ahh.. nostalgia. I remember this game as part of the puzzles on "7th Guest" (remember that? it screamed "come back!" at you when you exitted and scared the hell out of you...) anyway, it took me absolutely ages to beat the bugger. You did bloody well to beat it on the forth go.

If I remember rightly, it had a "partner" game in "11th Hour", but I wasn't allowed to play it cos I was too young when it came out *blush* showing my age now I think...

I was horribly bad at both games.

Fortunately, we (my uni mates and I, at the time) had a pleasant but cooky genius female friend that was both absolutely kick-arse at the game AND had enormous breasts.

Needless to say, my eye was not, so to speak, on the game.

Searching through my incredible back issues of out-dated CD's, I find that I still have the original disks of 7th Guest, and the original Myst. Getting them to play on my PC may prove to be somewhat problematic though. Get this: I need an incredible 20MHz processor, 4MB RAM and a 16-bit SVGA soundcard. My God, the power!(!)

I wasn't that bad at the puzzles themselves, although the desire to find that bloody Stauff guy and just cave his face in was immense. Obviously this heralded my need for more violent games in the future ;)

Thankfully, boobs did not get in my way of playing these games *lol*

How bizarre you should find that. Hexxagon was written *years ago* by a couple of my friends from high school.

Here's the original, which (despite being written in 1992) still runs just fine for me under WinXP. My only beef with the Java version is that it stripped Jason and Abe's names off the credits.

how rude!

is the flash thing by their company / legit in some other sense, or just a re-implementation?

Clicking through to this Neave fellow's website, I see he does credit Argo and link to a site that mentions everybody there. More might have been said on the game itself, but I suppose he had file size concerns the guys didn't. Hell, I think the original spanned a number of install disks - this one loads in a popup.

Argo's been gone for about 10 years now, I think. Dunno. Lost touch with the old gang not long after hs.
