Slight Miscalculation...

Well, the weekend did not go according to plan...

Not like fatally or anything, but there was a serious derailment...

Firstly, the whole thing where Nandanee didn't manage to hook up with me and the ensuing bad feeling there.

Then, we go and see Numan... Numan Was Good. hehehheh. Really fucking Good.

Sadly, we didn't manage to do any particular blagging other than fighting to stay in the VIP area for about ten minutes... damn...

Then ... well, in a very short period of time, planky and mel had something of a row and I realised how incredibly fucking drunk I was... I don't know about the others per se as I was OUT of it, but I said I really couldn't be doing with Slimelight (I was having serious trouble not being sick) and we came back to mine for about 1am or thereabouts...

SO... I didn't get to see ANY of the people I wanted to :(

Big Sorries To: SilverAJ, Debs, Nessa, Dies-Irae and any of the yellow toilet crew that I'd promised I'd attend to.

Bah.

Sunday we did a little band stuff but mostly I rehydrated and felt shite.

Then, Nandanee finally makes it round to my place for like 9pm, having to leave again at 11pm. It was really good to talk to her and everything, I just wish I'd seen more of her.

To top it off, it turns out ... what did she do on saturday after saying she'd rather not accompany me to slimes?

She went to slimes.

Har.

kind of off topic, but i'm curious ... every couple of months i stop in here, because i've followed you for years. [btw: you're very articulate and it's always refreshing to take a look at your writing.] last year or so there seemed to be a giant influx of people on your lj ... i'd see forty comments for every one of your posts. as far as i can tell, none of the people in your last fifteen entries are the same as those who used to comment so frequently

I'm not sure about the whole people turn-over phenomenon... I suppose I assumed that people find me interesting, they stick about, they get bored, they leave, other people turn up...

'dunno how it all works, really... I just keep on rattling stuff out regardless :D
