Anyone who tries to tell you you can work from home - doing anything more mentally demanding than vaccuuming or loading the washing machine - whilst looking after a baby, is an arse. Not even for one day. Not even for one morning. Believe me, I tried.
Grandparents and godparents are pure solid gold resources.
Crying when you're surrounded by baby stuff is good because their clothes and bibs are very soft and absorbent... I'm using my unborn's kiddyduvet downstairs as a mini banket since I got out of hospital. And her pushchair blanket is cosy, her building bricks are therapeutic and so on. I know this post wasn't made today but I am able to comment now!
