smack my muse up

deathboyaRrrrRrrgh. shitting death.
I feel like absolute shit, and I'm probably at least partially to blame for it.
After friday night's fun, but also scary adventure to see good friends and experience awful disco, I did, as threatened, utilise the Internets Boozes Deliverator. They were good. Very good. Unfortunately, this meant adding half a bottle of vodka to the pitcher of Long Island Iced Tea and 8 Smirnoff Ices that had already forced themselves on me at the club.
I then got my music on and finished something I'd been fiddling with in various forms over the last few weeks, "so I said you died".
Went to bed about 7am, absolutely shitfaced. Spent most of saturday in bed, hungover. But this was fine and an anticipated consequence of snogging the muse the night before. The muse, she demands her price.
What I didn't realise was that the muse (or, more likely, liz) had The Rabies, which suddenly took advantage of a depressed immune system and beat me to all FUCK all of yesterday, which i spent in bed again, feeling (due to intense aches) like I'd been in a fight, with constant pounding migraine, sore throat, the fucking works.
Spent last night in a wretched, unending fever dream, just forcing myself to stay uncovered to ditch the temperature, scarfing paracetamol and ibuprofen and drinking as much water as I could manage.
Fortunately, this morning brought a much improved head. Woke up in probably my most attractive of states, soaked in sweat but with my temperature gone. Still ache, still have sore throat, but that's all dealwithable. I are MAN Man. I will now go out and dig a huge hole, fix the car and have a FIGHT!
Maybe after just a little nap.
