Reminds me of my trip to Aqualand in Köln in 1994: sitting in the outside portion of a heated swimming pool while it was snowing. Trying to catch snowflakes on my tongue before they melted from the rising steam. Considering we hardly ever get snow in winter (or properly heated pools for that matter), that was pure luxury, I tell you :-)
(Well, except for the being surrounded by Germans bit...)
If it's not set up for when I get there, I'll totally want to use it for chilling / hangover action, and I can get 'em working in 30 mins. It'll take about 6-8 hours to HEAT, but I mean I should be able to get it rocking before the shiny shiny pub attracts me :)
Wait, are we talking about wangs or jacuzzis here? ;)
Anyhow, I was meaning THIS Friday coming, where I'll be driving 4 hours up the M6 to get to Hawick right after work - sadly, I think it's already packed up in the box (or about to be) ready for WHITBY! Where we all have FUN and DRUNKEN MOIST DEBAUCHERY!
Erk, just had a thought - we'd better not use it this weekend, as it'll never dry out properly in time to be packed up again... the Super Happy Fun Bus (and everyone in it!) will end up rather soggy!
You must also remind me to buy a swimsuit, else you'll have to put up with me running about in just my pants and one of Richard's t-shirts again! :(
