Even more, considering Disney (there's a reason why screenwriters for the company called it "Mousechwitz" back in the Nineties when Michael Eisner and Jeffrey Katzenberg ran it), I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if the whole appearance came to some idiot MBA and he insisted that it stick to his original design. I've seen other, similar disasters in product design over the years, and each and every one can be traced to some dolt with a business degree and an IQ of 14.
