I adore Eurochild, and Hell is Round the Corner, and while I knew that Karmacoma and Overcome were different takes on the same track, I knew they shared lyrics, but never really realised how much.

I generally love Massive Attack slightly more, but Tricky, particularly here, manages to be so very fucking grimy and vile and delicious, so much that you want to wash his words off your skin, or maybe just sink down into them.

Why did I never notice the lyrical reuse? Not that it matters.. it's gorgeous to hear the different ways both songs go. An' I haven't listened to Eurochild for too too long, so thankees for the reminder.

Tricky could probably read the phone book, and still make it sound beautifully grindly filthy.. lush.
