I've yet to play a game on a ps3 that didn't a) suck but look really pretty or b) not suck, but look better on the 360.

How Sony screwed up the ps3 I don't know, but it's wierd - all the people I know with one own one, maybe two games, they really use it for blu-ray.

This seems to be common. Weird.

(note - I'm not a 360 zealot, mine has RRoD before now and was dealt with quickly and cleanly by MS, I cant' stand console wars)

Congratulations on getting a proper gaming machine, btw. :) Funnily enough, just like you, the last console I bought before my 360 was a Dreamcast. I still have it in a box, somewhere. I wonder if it works...

I didn't buy anything after my DC until the Wii, which awoke the gamer inside me.

After a decade of game dev, I quite liked the Wii, which reminded me of the DC, then I grabbed a DS and started really enjoying casual gaming again, then my filthy friends lured me into getting a proper deck ;)
