Is it just me, or is there a tangible sense of relief that now Michael Jackson is dead, we can all stop being embarassed by what he became, and return more easily to remembering him in his hey-day?
This. Honestly, my first, terrible thought was "If only this had happened earlier, he might be remembered primarily as the king of pop, rather than "That formerly talented freak who kept going under the knife and sleeping with little boys."
Bloody well said. I loved his music, his concert was one of the best I've been to and I have many memories through my life for which he was a soundtrack. You're right, it's great to be able to enjoy it all again.

It'll be just like when he was alive!
