"No God" has very suddenly disappeared from #1 of the twitter trends.

There is absolutely no way this trend just stopped and dropped off the charts, it was clearly boiling twitter to bits.

Perhaps it was a pragmatic attempt to let their servers cool. *cough sure*

IM GONNA DELEET MA TWITTR PAGE IM NOT DOWN WID DAT LOL OMFG PONIES

Not cool, twitter.

It's interesting that it's in no way offensive to say, "there is a god" but any suggestion otherwise is somehow offensive.

My fave quote of the day:

"Using the bible as proof of god is like using Harry Potter as proof of wizards."

Logically stacks nicely.

Also, I fucking refuse to capitalise god, despite it technically being a proper noun. Mainly I do it as it irks pedantic christians.

And my favourite context snipe is "...god, or whatever...".

Religious and superstitious folk are the easiest to wind up.

There's certainly as much reason to believe in wizards as god. Theya re both only asserted in literature and backed up with nothing tangible. The only way to argue for either of them would to be semantically unless some evidence comes to light.

Actually, I'm going to say that wizards are more likely to be real, because when they defeat evil, they have a physical presence and actively try to help people before they get the crap kicked out of them, as opposed to God, who just waits until the Hero is basically dead before shining some light down out of some clouds (http://twitter.com/ObservantHermit/statuses/5030804060) (which he could have done at any time), the jerk.

(damn that movie for sucking so bad)

Wizard, god and evil are all words based on theological concepts without tangible basis.

I'd pick at your use of "tangible".

SO CALLED scientist.

I can feel the cold, hard, Old Testament hatred of YHWH any time I look out of the window.

And into the shed full of christians that I've collected.

How do you feed them, I'm assuming it's like seamonkeys, if you stick 'em in front of Jeremy Kyle, they seem to fundosynthesize...

It looks as if they've rolled 'no god' into 'know god' so that the latter is the dominant trend.

Way to go, theist twitter tossers.
