Officials are warning travellers not to visit the UK, the US, almost all of Western Europe, and Canada, following further outbreaks of the disease, which has led to mass panic among the media, thousands of ecstatic children being kept out of school by their credulous and moronic parents, and increased profits for DIY stores as the idiot public rush to bulk-buy face masks and boiler suits.

In other news, I've decided that I shall be calling my genre 'tek-punk' from now on... the kind of bands I'd like to have something in common with, i.e. Tarantella Serpentine, Chaos Engine, SoD, Numan, the Prodigy, Kat5can, etc all have quite a punk element to them and Kat5can already bagged 'electropunk'. Well, I reckon my stuff's as much like Tek-step as it is Punk (and a million things too, obviously).

Plus, hopefully, it will annoy Uncle Nem who "didn't fight in the punk wars" for music like mine.

Annoyingly, we haven't fecking got hardly any yet.

Admittedly, the album's not been out long and the promos / distro are only just kicking in, but if you can help (i.e. you know someone we should know / write for a mag / web / etc), please give me a yell. Promo copies are in short supply and high demand, but if you're a published reviewer and haven't got promo material (or know one), then we should know about you :)

This applies stateside, too, btw, not just in the good old US of B.

'Just listening to Rico - Santuary Medicines while I work (yeah... still workin'... and it's a friday... although that shit will stop the moment I get The Call from Barn and I get enough vodka down my throat to floor a ... well.. deathboy, I spose)

Fucking LOVE this album... which I was totally unaware of until FatherPerf thrust it where it oughtn't go.

Anyway... it's fucking great... somewhere between NIN and vintage House of Pain, if that sort of thing makes you tick... hiphop beats but dirty NIN moods and head-crashed subject matter, and a tinge of Tricky in the gravelly vocals.

'Cept now I'm quite down and dark because it's that kind of album.

Fuckit. Drinking occurs soon.

Anyway, if I make a music recommendation this week, it's this. Soulseek / Kazaa it, love it, then buy it (fucking £8.99 - can't go wrong).

I have spoken.
