SMS

Today (and yesterday) I've been developing an app to send SMS via J2ME on mobiles that support that.

Positives:

* It's for a porn company. It's a 'answer my questions and I'll strip' game. Hurrah for porn!
* I can write my own shit to send messages to mates now

Negatives:

* The phone's firmware only asks you if you want to OK the app sending an SMS, doesn't tell you who to, or what about, so you could run up a fortune on these things without knowing it... I worry about unscrupulous developers. And I seem to be becoming one by proxy.

* I have to pay to test my cocking app... Must have ran up a good few quid in test text messages today :/

Still... learning stuff and paying the rent and actually achieving my work-goals.

It *is* actually nice to get your work done so you can play with a clear conscience.

Right... now for some booze and quake.
