the effect on your userpic that makes your skin and lips blue... one of the ways to achieve it is known as hue-rotation as it takes the hue of any pixel (colour without intensity) and pushes it round the colour wheel so red might go to blue, etc, etc.

That's what it's called in potatoshop anyway.
