Crisis Averted... kinda...

Well, having the possibility of being homeless looming over my head had been getting me down recently, and almost came to a (nasty) head today, as the fact that the company I work for is brand spanky new and not quite fully registered with everyone nad their dog... so the people at the letting agency for my house couldn't verify my reference...

... which would have led to them refusing to let me stay there... which would mean no house for Scott.... which would SUCK.

Fortunately, being the money-grasping little vultures that they are, they phoned up the landlord and said something along the lines of "We can't suss out his reference, but we reckon he can pay the bills..." and he must have said something like "Yeah... fuck it.. so long as the money comes in..." so they gave me the OK.

So I'm gonna be OK.

At least until they find out what we DID to the house...
