To say that I rather over-enjoyed a bottle of generic bacardi, when filtered and mixed with Dr Pepper Zero would be akin to stating that heroin is awfully moreish.

Today, I have slept for about two hours, configured two USB wireless dongles to share my internet connection via an ad-hoc connection and gone "ooh, shiny!" at a rackmount headphone splitter that arrived today. my expectations of doing music this evening will be curtailed by the fact that my liver demands a ceasefire.

in other news, dear sweet lord, there's over seven hundred of you people. where did that come from? I'm humbled and disgusted in equal measures ;)

and, on with the show...

it is to Dr P what Pepsi Max is to Pepsi - zero sugar, etc. I'm quite fond of it as a mixer as your teeth don't get so furry.

Also, I don't know if it is available in the UK yet, but Diet Coke is now available in a sucralose (Splenda) variety; it tastes almost exactly like regular Coke minus the syrup-sweetness and bitter post-nasal drip. 0~o

I'm in the middle of a rather alarming six-month affair with Sandeman Reserve Port. Of course, I can't drink all the time. That's what opiates are for.

"Real" Bacardi is bad and wrong anyway, on the grounds that it's a money printing machine for looney far-right exile Cubans in Miami. I recommend Havana Club. Tasts better too.

What you need to do is find a liquor store that not only delivers, but takes paypal payments. That way, your donations can filter directly to them, and every time it passes the cost of a bottle, one is delivered right to your door.

Unless booze delivery services are a Canadian thing, and you don't have them there, in which case this wouldn't work.
