HOO-AH! The VILE MARKETING continues!

We've been selling a bunch of CDs to people who wouldn't normally listen to the band (or the genre) on the back of people actually playing them the CD. Crazy concept, you may say...

So, it's occurred to us that during our mahoosive half-price album sale, it would be a fairly kicking idea to show people exactly what it sounds like. No lofi streams or clips of tracks, full-fat, full quality streaming previews, one a day until the sale ends.

Unlike the tracks I put up as demos, written in an evening over some vodka and self-loathing, the album is polished and produced, we reckon it kicks arse and if you hear it all shiny-like, you'll fecking well enjoy it. So, without further ado, the first preview of the week:

Angel on my Shoulder - DeathBoy
Full quality / full track streaming mp3 preview

£2.50 ($5) MP3 Album (no DRM) / £5 ($10) CD

Buying via these channels also sends the maximum money back to us, the filthy artists, to fuel further music (all other distributors take a mean pound of flesh, bless them).

If you like what you're hearing, or just want to help us spread the word, please whack a tasty little link into your LJ with the following code (it really helps)... TA!

DIG! THAT! TRACK!

Reminds me of the time I spent in Detroit dancing with the girls who all had boyfriends already. What a depressing memory. Thanks. ;-)

Seriously tho, is Bitpass like paypal or something? As a bartender, I exist in a world of cash. I always stumble when it's commerce that doesn't involve paper. ;-)

And does Mperia ship to theEmpire States?

Rock on, bro!

Mperia is US-based, they serve mp3s to any-old-country (bless 'em), they are *really* good to the artists, and they hooked bitpass up to PayPal a while back.

So, while it might not be immediately advertised (in fact, I might yell at them about this...), you can absolutely pay via paypal, though it might have a small intermediate step of paying-bitpass-via-paypal.

When I've used it, it's been like buying shit off ebay - although it has the bitpass label, when you hit "pay", the paypal button's there, you click thrice and you're done.

I loves me my convenience - 's one of the reasons I dig mperia ;)

Cool, I'll go with whatever takes care of the artist best. I don't actually have a paypall account because I don't trust the bastiches. Have to look into this Bitpass thingy.

Make sure you let me know when y'all tour Northern California. :D

hmm weird, have gone thru your old posts to see if i can download anything else that you have uploaded to deathboy.anti-goth.com, can't get anything there either. Maybe there is a anything 'deathboy' embargo where i am :) as you also don't come up as active for me on msn anymore as well (since mid-late last year).

It happens when you're logged in (i.e. not anonymous/guest) and you use Firefox.

I'm guessing that's what's happened?

The folks at OnLineOut.com company got back with the good news that shipping to the USA is very minimal, and their check-out procedures (via PayPal) were smooth and non-confusing, so I should be getting a real-live copy of the CD any day (week?) now!

Dig the song.
I'm drawing the attention of a part-time DJ I know in Montreal to it.
Let's hear it for grassroots movements.

Indeed you have succeeded in getting people who wouldnt normally listen to this to maybe buy as CD.

This is top notch!
