If you lived in the Midlands, you'd have a proper alternative music radio station (http://www.kerrangradio.co.uk). XFM, bunch of corporate southern poofs.

I keep meaning to write a "how to get Kerrang on a proper steam-powered radio if you live on the fringes of reception" article involving dipole antennas and a crocodile clip, but since everyone can hear it via the interweb or Freeview, that's no loss.
